Michelle Sikes is interviewed for BBC documentary

Michelle Sikes, assistant professor of African Studies, was recently interviewed by the BBC World Service for a podcast that was released in July. The topic was “Sporting Heroines of History.” The episode details the history of a wide range of trailblazing female athletes across the world and across multiple sports. Dr. Sikes spoke about pioneering female runners in Kenyan history.
