AFR affiliate Francis Dodoo named distinguished professor for 2022

Francis Dodoo, distinguished professor of sociology, demography, and African studies, and former acting head of African American studies, was recently awarded the distinguished professor title. Francis is one of three in the College of Liberal Arts to receive the honor this year. The addition of the title of “Distinguished Professor” provides an avenue for such recognition that can be awarded to qualified faculty members upon recommendation of their peers and the administration.
