Andiswa Bukula

Professional Bio

Andiswa is a dual-title Ph.D. candidate in Applied Linguistics and African Studies. She was an assistant lecturer at Nelson Mandela University, South Africa teaching isiXhosa to non-mother tongue speakers and Contemporary Culture. Between the years 2018 and 2025, Andiswa held a position as a Digital Humanities Researcher with a special focus in isiXhosa at the South African Centre for Digital Language Resources (SADiLaR).
