Precious Ojo

Professional Bio

Precious Ojo is pursuing a Dual-title Ph.D. in French and Francophone Studies and African Studies. She holds an M.A in French and Francophone Studies from Penn State University (2025) and University of Florida (2023). Her research interests include Sub-Saharan African Literature, Migration Studies, Memory Studies, African Feminisms and Comparative Studies. She is interested in exploring the intersections of migration, memory, and gender; how identities, cultural practices, and notions of self and community are reconstructed in the context of migration.
